It was a great experience overall. The process was very smooth and easy. I was a bit nervous at first but felt very comfortable with the whole experience as Doctor Bala and his team are very attentive. Doctor Bala himself is very high-spirited, which is a plus when you are going through a procedure that feels unknown to you. I did my procedure yesterday and woke up with 20/20 vision. I said to my husband if you let me choose between a fancy designer handbag and a lasik surgery with PersonalEYES laser, I'd go for PersonalEYES. The only regret thay I have is I wish I did this earlier to save all the plastics that I've used over the years for my contact lens. Anyhoo, I would highly recommend who are still thinking to go for a lasik to do this with PersonalEYES.

I had LASIK here 2 weeks ago. All of the team were lovely right from the initial checkup, everything was explained clearly. I managed to book in for surgery 2 days later. On the day of the surgery I was quite anxious but again the team were lovely and suppprtive. Dr Bala is so calm and positive, it really helps to make you feel relaxed. The Valium before surgery was a great addition as not everywhere provides this. The surgery only lasts 10 mins total or so - the actual procedure being only 30 seconds per eye. You can’t feel anything during and I was amazed that I had no pain at all after, not even red eyes the next day (I know this varies by person). I followed the aftercare instructions, took the sleeping pill provided and had a great sleep. Woke up and could see. The next day is was even sharper. All follow up appointments have been great. It’s such a huge decision when it comes to your eyes and I am so happy I picked PersonalEyes, I’ve recommended the team to all my friends since. Thank you to the whole team!

Unfortunately there were challenges on the day at the Canberra location that meant the surgery had to be postponed. The PersonalEyes team easily organised an appointment that week based on my availability for Sydney providing accomodation for the inconvenience. The Sydney team were extremely friendly and supportive throughout the procedure. The procedure itself was quick and painless with Dr Bala explaining each phase of the surgery for my understanding and ease. My vision is now significantly improved and I am over the moon with results.

I don't think I can overstate how impressed I am by the entire personalEYES experience. I had my surgery yesterday, and at every stage of the process so far - from the initial consultation, the surgery itself, and the post-operation check up today - it has been an impressive and pleasant experience. Impressive because of the thorough and careful expertise of the entire team who took the time to answer my every question, the efficiency of the flow of the surgery experience, the painless surgery itself, and the immediate effects of being able to see clearly. Pleasant because every single person I had a touchpoint with was courteous and professional, but also warm and caring, including Dr Bala. My only regret was not having done the surgery earlier, and that I possibly won't ever need to come back again!

Wow, thank you to personalEYES team- Dr Bala, Cassandra, Lauren, Veronica and Mei! It’s been almost 3 weeks since my LASIK procedure and man, I feel born again! Thanks to Dr Bala’s amazing work - he is so calm, humorous and confident ! and his supportive team’s instructions and answering my many calls as I was very nervous about doing this procedure, I have gained an amazing result of better than 20/20 after struggling with my deteriorating vision for the last 13 years! The written instructions were so helpful, was provided with so much care by the team- I mentioned that I get hives from a particular type of medical tape so they carefully assessed and provided alternatives and the frequent checkups show the care they have for their patients ! Love the convenient locations too! Operation in city and did post op in burwood or city based on which worked best for me :) Such a beautiful and clean and gorgeous clinic, in the waiting room to the operation - it doesn’t feel like a hospital vibe, you can sit calmly and stare at the gorgeous ceiling with cherry blossom display which Cassandra kindly showed us!

I recently had laser eye surgery with PersonalEyes after wearing glasses for over 20 years. My only regret is not doing this sooner. The recovery was so quick - I could see clearly by the night after my surgery, and my vision only continued to improve the following day onwards. The staff were really friendly and Dr Bala was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering having it done.
